Change to a new web host

Often you can save money or get a better support by select a better host. It´s not hard to do it, here is how

1. Setup your new account.

2. Transfer your site. If your not using a database you can just upload your files to the new host via ftp.

3. Setup your email accounts on the new host.

4. Change the dns. If you bought your domain separate from the hosting you have to log in to their website. Otherwise contact your old host and tell them you want to close your account and change to the new one. The new host will give you the names of their nameservers this information must be updated. The dns will take 24-72h to update so you have to wait a couple of days before you can access your site on the new hosting company.
